Hummus recipe

From a relative:
"The easiest is not necessarily how I do it, as I need to do everything from scratch.
Take a can of chickpeas/garbanzo beans, drain and rinse well.
Puree in blender or food processor till smooth and creamy, adding olive oil or water as necessary for creamy consistancy.
Add 2TB tahini (sesame seed butter).
Now it's play time. Decide if you want garlicky, spicy, low or medium sodium, or what. I add hickory smoked salt, roasted pureed reg bell pepper, granulated garlic, and a pinch of cumin.
I don't know if that would be to your taste or not. You can add whatever seasoning you prefer. "
